2024 AMA Supercross Championship round 15 Injury Update

 

The 2024 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship round 15 will be held in Philadelphia, PA, on Saturday, August 27, 2024. Here you can see the Philadelphia SX full race rider’s injury report below:


450SX


Christian Craig, Elbow, Out


Craig is back on the bike and getting ready for the AMA Pro Motocross, but he will miss the rest of the supercross due to an elbow injury.


Dylan Ferrandis, Lungs


After missing several races due to a lung ailment, Ferrandis will return to racing in Philadelphia.


 
Logan Karnow: Ankle | Out


Karnow is back on the bike, but he is sidelined because of an ankle injury he suffered during the season opener.


Ken Roczen: Leg, Foot, and Out


An issue with his back suspension caused Roczen to crash in Nashville's whoops. He broke his foot, toe, and tibia plateau in the collision. He won't be able to see Supercross anymore.


John Short: Banged Up and Out


John Short, who hasn't raced since suffering a serious injury in Indianapolis, will make a comeback in Denver.


Aaron Tanti: Thumb | Out


Tanti might return for Denver, but he is out for Philadelphia.


250SX East Region


Guillem Farres, Femur | Out


Due to a damaged femur, Farres will miss the rest of Supercross.


Austin Forkner: Spine, Scapula, and Out


After a severe collision in Arlington, he shattered his L3, L4, and scapula, hurt his shoulder socket, and suffered blood and bruises to his lungs. Forkner is currently recuperating.


Seth Hammaker: Shoulder | In


Hammaker's damaged shoulder from a crash in Foxborough prevented him from traveling to Nashville. He intends to return to Philadelphia.


Derek Leatherman, Leg | Out


With a shattered femur, Leatherman is sidelined for the whole season.


Enzo Lopes: Forearm | Out


Lopes is not participating in a supercross competition as he works to get over a challenging arm pump surgery recuperation.


Dominique Thury, Head, Neck | In


Thury damaged his head and neck when he went down during a Foxborough workout, which kept him out of Nashville. He intends to return to Philadelphia.


Stilez Robertson, Wrist | Out


Robertson is now sidelined as he recovers from a severe wrist injury.
